Judge Hans Anderson was born to a poor rural Norwegian family and came to the US as a young child. He eventually learned English and gained a good education. He became a lawyer and later a county judge. His autobiographical papers were published in the Whitehall Times. Some of the chapters are missing at this point in time (2014) but hopefully they may be found and published to this site in the future.
